Installation overview

SteeLuxe insulated steel siding is engineered for installation over solid wood sheathing fastened to structural studs. For standard construction, secure panels using screws with flat pancake heads, allowing panels room to move naturally with thermal expansion and contraction. When installing on Insulated Concrete Foundation (ICF) walls or pole barn structures, fasten 5/8″ OSB sheathing to the concrete using anchors rated for adequate holding strength. If wood sheathing is not being used, horizontal supports must be added perpendicular to the siding direction, spaced every 12 to 16 inches on center to ensure proper fastening intervals. All panels feature pre-notched ends for clean overlapping and the Slide-Lock system for secure alignment.
